Maricopa is one of Arizona's fastest-growing cities. That growth brings opportunity and responsibility. On City Council, I'll focus on what matters: supporting our first responders, improving our transportation challenges, and investing in our community's future.

What I'll advocate for on Council
Maricopa remains one of Arizona's fastest-growing cities. If elected as your City Councilmember, I understand what it means to keep pace with growth, planning how to get you where you need to go, and creating/sustaining a city that offers a great quality of life.
Public Safety
Competitive pay, career pathways, and support wellness programs
- Prioritize competitive compensation in the budget to attract and retain quality officers and firefighters
- Invest in succession planning and career development
- Continue to support and fund preventative wellness strategies, screening programs, and mental health resources for our first responders
Transportation & Transit
Regional access, expanded transit, and infrastructure that works
- Continue advocating for completion on SR-347 improvements and regional connectivity options
- Implement Maricopa Association of Government's (MAG) transit study to expand local and regional transit services or programs
- Make active sensible transportation infrastructure a priority in development approvals
Quality of Life
Recreation that grows with us, opportunities for everyone
- Invest in parks and recreation facilities or locations that grow with our population
- Create opportunities for all ages, with a focus on youth/teens to connect, learn, and thrive in our community
- Support policies that strengthen local businesses
- Advocate strategies and plans to keep neighborhoods connected, well-maintained, and desirable
Let's put these priorities into action
Before I can get to work on these priorities, I need to get on the ballot. Help me get on the ballot by signing my nomination petition.

Committed to Maricopa's future
I chose Maricopa as my home because I wanted to be part of a growing community, a place where I could own a home, build a life, and help shape the future. What I found was a city full of potential and neighbors who genuinely care about making it better.
From day one, I attended City Council and Planning & Zoning meetings, observing and learning how decisions get made and where, or how, I can contribute. Resident frustration with SR-347 traffic and lack of concrete (pun intended) improvements, led me to build 347facts.com to provide a way for residents to connect with and voice their concerns directly to city, council, and state elected officials and ADOT. Together, we sent over 100,000 emails to elected officials, and in June 2025, ADOT added SR-347 widening to their 5-year plan. That's what happens when we organize and work together.
In 2023, I was appointed to the Planning & Zoning Commission, serving as Vice Chair and now Chair. I've gained hands-on experience with a myriad of tough decisions about how our city grows. I have had the privilege of learning so much about development, planning, and growing a city. I look forward to applying that knowledge, coupled with my direct experience in that process, as your Councilmember.
I considered running for Council in 2024, but I was busy getting married and enjoying that first year with my wife. My wife and I live in Tortosa with our three dogs. We coach Maricopa High School's swim team together, and she also leads the Arizona Seals Swimming Academy. Whether I'm on the pool deck or behind a camera capturing local sports and senior portraits, I'm connected to this community. Maricopa isn't just where we live, it's where we're invested.
My commitment, my approach
These are the principles that guide how I make decisions on Planning & Zoning and in life, and it's how I'll approach every vote on City Council.
Be Present & Prepared
I've attended nearly every City Council and Planning & Zoning meeting since moving to Maricopa in 2021. Whether I'm reviewing staff reports, studying development proposals, or researching policy options, I do my homework before making decisions. I show up prepared, informed, and ready to make decisions.
Listen First
I've learned that responsible decisions start with good listening and finding balance/compromise. I take into account perspectives from staff, my fellow P&Z Commissioners, Council, SMEs (subject matter experts), and residents. Understanding helps me find the best or most practical solutions that serve the greater good, not just the loudest voices.
Take Action
I do more than simply identify problems, I work to solve them. I built 347facts.com and helped facilitate over 120,000 emails that got SR-347 widening on ADOT's 5-year plan. From coaching youth sports to serving on Planning & Zoning, I believe in rolling up my sleeves, doing my research, identifying options, being thoroughly prepared, and getting things done.
Stay Accountable
I'm always prepared to justify my vote or explain my reasoning while debating issues. As YOUR VOICE, it's important for you to know what I know and hear why I vote as I do. Transparency and accountability are not just a campaign promise; it's how I've led on Planning & Zoning, and it's how I'll serve on City Council.
